(I know this was discussed last week on your blog, so…)

The muffin batter…you mean the time we had to take the door of the oven apart to get the batter out from in between the glass? I’m glad that only happened one time.

Knowing how to choose your battles is a mark of maturity. So that’s a good thing.

You briefly mentioned Mulan…I have a thing or two to add to that. “You...you fight good.” And “The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all. Sir? You don’t meet a girl like that every dynasty.”

Now…I hope you finish editing Acktorek 1 soon so I can get to proofreading…
Melissa Hunekehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18352963488414603868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-273458842532393822.post-27890952547899602922020-08-18T13:54:47.953-04:002020-08-18T13:54:47.953-04:00There's a reason I was so obsessed with the Em...There's a reason I was so obsessed with the Emily books as a teenager. ;) Yes, way too many ways to count in which I'm like Emily. Except I'd never let the whole Dean Priest thing happen. Gross. There was only ever Teddy for her. Dean's just...awful. And well, yeah, I did only dump muffin batter on the oven door once. Surely there's an end to all the mistakes a person can make. :)

I'm...better at choosing my battles than I used to be. There are still people I have to be really careful around or I'll end up arguing, sometimes about something stupid. I still don't understand why people think I'm sweet, but a lot of people do, so *shrugs*

YES. I SO want to learn both archery and sword fighting. It's just so cool.Morgan Hunekehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11090224903186681429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-273458842532393822.post-36415673833670651052020-08-17T11:19:52.743-04:002020-08-17T11:19:52.743-04:00You have definitely always been more Emily of New ...You have definitely always been more Emily of New Moon (in too many ways to count) than Anne of Green Gables, with one exception. Like Anne, you usually only make a particular mistake one time. I’m sure you’re hoping “There must be a limit to the mistakes one person can make, and when I get to the end of them, then I'll be through with them.” And maybe the chatterbox thing. 😊

I don’t think you are as argumentative as you think you are…not since you were about 9. Stubborn? Yes, absolutely, but about all the right things. You don’t think you are sweet, but I do. (And I’ve known you longer than anyone but your dad. 😊)

Maybe one day you can take archery lessons or fencing lessons, then you will be good with a bow or a sword/light saber.
Melissa Hunekehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18352963488414603868noreply@blogger.com
